2012-2013 fall term, I submitted my graduation thesis. The main goals of this study were to better understand what the effects of the stage and seating design are while experiencing acoustics in music- performance spaces. While  This was investigated by utilizing the method of case study based on the observation, interview (with the musical performers and hall-owners) and questionary (with the audiences).

Questionnaires as the main data-collection procedure of the study conducted after the music performance in Izmir Ahmet Adnan Saygun Art Centre, Atatürk Cultural Centre and Zeus Bar. Questions aimed at perceiving the effects of distance between the stage and seating, effects of viewpoint on experiencing acoustic, audience’s criteria of selecting their seating and audience’s observation about music-performance space.
